"The spectacular Gun Hill is among the most famous tourist attractions of Mussoorie. It is the second highest peak in the region after Lal Tibba. There is an interesting history that backs the popularity of the Gun Hill. It is said that from this hilltop, the British used to fire a canon every afternoon to help the natives know the time.

"Around 11 km from Library Point, the Benog Wildlife Sanctuary is a part of the popular Rajaji National Park. Home to a variety of rare and common fauna like Himalayan goat, panther, leopard, deer and bear, this park is among the most visited tourist destinations in the hill station of Mussoorie.

Cloud’s End is a wonderful stretch, which is around 6 km away from Library Road. Visitors can reach this magnificent natural attraction by trekking along the Hathipaon Road from the popular Happy Valley or by car. The path that leads to this mesmerising spot is replete with lush flora.

"The famous IAS Academy, beautiful gardens and exquisite Tibetan temples describe the Happy Valley in the most appropriate manner. Geographically, the valley is located towards the west of the popular Library Point, on the way that leads to the Cloud's End. In 1959, when the 14th Dalai Lama took refuge in Mussoorie, many Tibetans came here and since then this valley has been serving as their home. 

Vinog Mountain Quail Sanctuary, also known as Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, was established in the year 1993. This beautiful sanctuary, spreading across an expanse of about 339 hectares, is a haven for birdwatchers. It is home to Pahari Bater or Mountain Quail (on-the-verge-of-extinction bird), which was last seen in the year 1876.
