The Judges Court in Kangra is located near the ornamental village tank of Pragpur and is surrounded by fruit orchards that grow litchi, mangos, grape, plum, parsimmon and citrus fruits. This rambling 300 year old ancestral property was the residence of Justice Sir Jai la of Kangra. It has seven rooms, a private suite and a gorgeous view of the mountains. Today the judges family runs it as a heritage hotel and it has been restored to its former glory. The food is very similar to what was served in the judges time and made largely from the produce from the garden. So a visit here for a meal or to stay will make your holiday even more worthwhile!
