The favored haven of Mata Chamunda ji.Chamunda Devi Temple is a famous holy place of love of theHindus. Arranged in Kangra range of Himachal Pradesh, Chamunda Devi Mandir is at a partition of 10kms from Palampur, 24 km from Kangra and 15 km from Dharamshala on the banks of Banganga (Baner)River. Another legend has it that "Savarni Manamantra" battle between the celestialcreatures and fiendishness spirits, Chamunda created as Chandika from an eyebrow of Goddess"Kaushiki" and was delegated the endeavor of discarding the villains "Chand" and "Mund". Chandikacombat a savage battle with these two shrewdness spirits lastly killed them. Goddess Chandika took themurdered pioneers of the two fallen angels "Chand" and "Mund" to the Goddess "Kaushiki" who beingenormously fulfilled, favored Chandika and offered to her the title of "Chamunda," the name which is praised all around the world.
