Bhuntar Located in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Bhuntar is a beautiful town in the Kullu district. It would not be an exaggeration to describe Bhuntar as Nature at its very best. It is famous among tourists as the crossroad of Kullu valley.Bhuntar also has a famous temple known as the Basheshwar Temple. The temple is an architectural marvel and is resplendent with many beautiful sculptures and carvings. A camping site located near the town is an excellent place to stay during the summer season. Bhuntar is often frequented by visitors travelling to Manikaran and onwards to the Parvati valley.Bhuntar serves as a gateway to the towns of Manali and Kullu. Kullu is a very famous town and is located just 10 Kms away from Bhuntar. Bajaura village is another famous tourist attraction near Bhuntar. River Beas which flows through Bhuntar opens an opportunity of Water Rafting.

Basheshwar Mahadev #1

Basheshwar Mahadev Temple is a very famous temple known for its sculptures and stone carvings and is just 4 Kms from the Bhuntar Airport. It is also called as Visveshvara Mahadev. The temple is assumed to have been built in the 8th century and is the largest of all the stone temples in Kullu.

Jagannath Temple #2

Jagannath Temple is a must see attraction to visit while planning your trip for Bhuntar. It is located on a hill, just 3 Kms from Bhuntar and the way to the temple is quite steep. The temple is situated at an elevation of 5000 ft above the sea level.

Himalayan National Park #3

Located in the vicinity of Bhuntar in Kullu, the park is also known by the name of Jawaharlal Nehru Great Himalayan National Park and is spread over a large area. Coniferous forests, snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows covered with flowers and glaciers can be seen in the park. It also serves as a shelter to varied animals like Himalayan musk deer, brown bears, black bears, rhesus macaques, langurs and wild sheep.
