Pickup from Dehradun to Mussoorie. Check-in at the Hotel. Start a sightseeing tour of Mussoorie covering Mussoorie Lake, Company Garden, Happy Valley, Gun Hill, Sir George Everest House, and Camel’s Back Road. You can take a cycle rickshaw to Company Garden and back (do not pay more than Rs. 160). On return to Mall Road, you can trek up to Gun Hill. Sadly, there is no view from the top of this Mussoorie’s second-highest point, as it is completely infested with shops. You would rather give this a miss! Start walking on Camel’s Back Road. At the end of this road, you will be shown a rocky outcrop in the shape of a camel’s hump. This is a must-see, there is a very nice market at the end of Camel’s Back Road. Check it out if you still have some time. Also, rediscover the magic of our very own Maggie in Mussoorie!
Take a tour to Kempty Falls and Dhanaulti. Trek up the falls at Kempty instead of going down, this will be a new experience other than the commercialised down area of Kempty falls. Beware of monkeys snatching away things at Kempty. Do not miss the ECO park & Surkanda Devi at Dhanaulti! It is simply a superb… trek all the way up inside and discover beautiful and breathtaking sights.
Take the cable car from Joshimath to Auli (timing 08:30 AM-04:30 PM). Visit the Auli artificial lake, one of the most astounding man-made lakes on the planet. The highest manmade lake in the world, the Auli artificial lake is one of the best places to visit in Auli. The lake was built with a view of creating perennial artificial ski slopes at this adventure destination. The water from this freshwater reservoir will be used to fuel the snow guns that have been stationed along the ski slopes to provide an even surface and extend the season of skiing even if there is less snowfall. Visit Gurso Bugyal, popular for its perspectives of Dron Parvat, Nanda Devi and Trishul Peak.
Enjoy skiing at the Auli ski resort. Visit Chenab lake, well known for its peaceful ambience. The last discovered and not-so-visited Chenab Lake is worth a visit for the calm and serene atmosphere that it offers. The virginity of this place holds the sights of tourists and makes it an enchanting spot. In the Garhwal Himalayas, there are still some areas that are virgin and unexplored.
On arrival in Rishikesh, start your day with a visit to Ramjhula & Laxman Jhula. Both these iron suspension bridges built in 1986 across the river Ganges are one of the iconic landmarks of Rishikesh. Near Laxman Jhula visit Kailash Niketan Temple, a temple with 13 storeys. The view from the top of this temple is magnificent. Enjoy the river rafting on the river Ganga in case you are seeking adventure or if travelling with small kids visits the famous Beatles Ashram, Swarg Ashram, Bharat Mata Mandir and not miss Ganga Aarti in Parmarth Ashram Rishikesh.
Camping and Trekking in Rishikesh:- Start day two seeking adventure. Surrounded by beautifully cut-out mountain paths and spotted with campsites, you can go trekking, be one with nature, explore and record via pictures. You can book a guide for long-distance expert treks or just go out with your sports shoes on, straight from your hotel into the streets of the city, discovering the yoga capital of the world. Camping On The Banks Of Ganges After a trek, you can camp outdoors in the lap of nature. Most travel agents offer adventure tour packages that include camping in Rishikesh. The very experience of camping on the white banks of the brilliantly blue river, amidst forests and mountain peaks, waking up to the chirping of birds and the gurgling of the Ganges is one beyond explanation.
Reach Dehradun. Visit Sahastradhara the cold Sulphur water spring believed to have exceptional medicinal value. Travelers Stories 2022
All Seasons travel team created an incredible itinerary for us. We had never been there and didn’t know what we should see and what not to miss. Each day was “the best day of the trip” – each day exceeded our expectations and thrilled us. From visiting the KRC museum in Ranikhet to an overnight stay in forest rest house inside the corbett park , we were thrilled. Along the way we had some phenomenal hotels (B&Bs) with wonderful hosts and beautiful views. The materials they sent us with our itinerary were thorough and easy to use. We would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a tour of Uttarakhand.
Planning the trip was great! The travel planner worked with me to come up with an itinerary, adjusting based on my availability and what I wanted to see and do. The itinerary included some things I would not have done on my own, but I’m glad I did!
The trip itself was fantastic. Everything was pre-arranged, including transportation. Our planner even picked us up at our hotel for a tour of Corbett Jeep Safari .Thanks All Seasonsz and Nitin our contact person.
I wanted to thank Mansi and Lalit and their tour company All Seasons for creating a unique and special experience that we will never forget. They took the time to answer all of our questions and ensure that each activity met our desires before moving forward. All of our accommodations and activities were exactly what we were looking for to enjoy our trip. I would highly recommend working with this professional and thoughtful organization to plan your next trip to Uttarakhand, you won’t regret it.
Uttarakhand is amazing state and 2 1/2 weeks wasn’t nearly enough time. We planned the trip because our daughter was studying abroad for the semester. Our travel planner tailored the trip to our specifications, quickly making any and all necessary changes. Traveling from the Garhwal to Kumaon, the itinerary was thorough and included maps, directions as well as additional activities to do in each location. We arrived on the Dehradun airport, just after a heavy rain storm that closed the roads to Mussoorie. This was to be our first excursion and we were a bit disappointed. We contacted our travel planner and her team in Uttarakhand who were diligent in trying to rebook a modified version of the tour. Due to weather it did not happen, but the customer service exceeded our expectations. The rest of our time went as planned with awe inspiring scenery from waterfalls, forest & himalayan views sites and relaxing daytrips to surrounding areas of Kanatal, Dhanaulti & Tehri. The real testimony of our travel company’s “above and beyond” customer service. We can’t thank her enough for handling this stressful situations during the tour.
We had two travel weeks to see Uttarakhand and our All Seasons contact person Shivam joshi at this local tour company (Uttarakhand contact) did a fantastic job! Our itinerary was just what we wanted with wonderful options that we thoroughly enjoyed – Snow around Joshimath-Auli, Chopta and Plenty in Mukteshwar, amazing hotels, with local drivers – that all went off like clockwork. However, it’s when things go wrong that you really find out how good your travel agents are. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the travel designer had to deal with last minute flights cancellations, but he was able to re-book us back to the Hyderabad and our daughter back to Mumbai – a real wizard! That lowered our stress level immensely. Responsive and efficient, even half way around the world. The travel specialist kept us informed about what was happening on the ground – even contacting us at our remote resort (no cell service)! This travel company booked our 2018 trip to Himachal (first time I used Allseasonsz.com) and I’m glad that I used them for our second trip! No hesitation to use them again in the future!
Despite having to return 3 days early, I would say this was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. Our travel planner set up a trip to remember with off the beaten track adventures and once of a lifetime things to do.
He was also fantastic and a lifesaver with regard to the COVID-19 issues. He went above and beyond to take care of our revised travel plans and refunds and is still taking care of us.
We would definitely use All Seasonsz and our travel planner again!
The adventures that our travel planner set up. Car hire, auli tour, Chopta trek, restaurants recommendations and hotels. All were top notch and wonderful experiences.
