The hotel is downriver from Rishikesh by a couple kilometers. The walk to town along the river is safe (we walked it at night several times)....and truly magnificent. The first bridge (Rham Jula) requires a tuk-tuk as does the second bridge (Lacksman Jhula....a bit further). Having said this, the view from the hotel is priceless....overlooking the foothills of the Himalayas and a park. We saw wild elephants drinking at the river. Overall the distance from town and the bridges was worth it as the walk along the river was truly a one of a kind opportunity. The food at the hotel was outstanding and I am not typically a hotel food person.
We have been der for our family trip at rhishikesh. Our stay is excellent the view is awsome quality of food is too good.the nature of mr deep (manager) and the chef is too generous. Spa is awsome. We recommend your stay at ganga kinare.
Beautiful riverside location. Waking up to see the Ganga River from the room balcony is a joyful experience. The views from the restaurant are peaceful. Food was delicious. Being able to complete Ganga snan at the hotel's dock was a fulfilling experience, made pleasant by being able to go to the room and dry off and warm up.
