Located at the top of a hill, this beautiful resort offers great views of the Himalayas along with numerous facilities such as table tennis, bonfire, billiards, free yoga sessions every morning. We booked a duplex and it was quite large in area offering great views. Also, a small market is located nearby the resort and so is the chocolate house. The resort offers sumptuous north Indian food at economical prices and is located 4-5kms from Chauli ki Jali and 8-10kms from Bhalu Gaad waterfalls. A small drawback was that the room heater was chargeable at INR300/night, so in case of travel with children & elderly, one would have to pay for the facility. Overall, great value for money.
Firstly Mukteshwar is a must visit place for nature lovers. This place offers amazing mountain views. Clouds decend down on the roads making it an amazing drive amidst clouds and rain. We visited over a long weekend in August and the crowd was very less. And the weather was AWESOME!!!! Getting to this resort, everything is good about this property. The rooms, the view it offers, food and service. If u happen to stay here, don't miss the 360 degree view trail behind the property. The view from that trail is a bliss during sunrise and sunset.
Rooms are big, all mountain facing. Indian food was great but Chinese food was below expectation. Though service was quick. Staff was quite cooperative. There is big open area/lawn in front of main building.... Good for relaxation. Mukteshwar weather is great....if you are looking for some time for urself then come to Mukteshwar. You can go for Nature walks and some local picnic spots.
