We stayed at the pool retreat for a night at Ranikhet on our way to Nainital. Was a bit skeptical about the hotel when when took the narrow little turn from a bustling local village. The hotel turned out to be quiet a decent one. We had a room with the view of the swimming pool from the room and the hills from the balcony. The rooms were nice and cosy..missed having an ac in the daytime...but the weather got quite chilly as evening set in. The sounds of the cattle bells grazing on the slopes around is such a pleasant experience. The staff was good. Food is basic...more of homely food.
I had stayed there for two nights and was in love with the place. I had started feeling as I was at my home. All due to the friendly staff and the owner. Special thanks to the owner as he had offered us his own in the absence of any other big room.I shall definitely visit this place again whenever I go to Ranikhet next.
Its a small property with v nice rooms . Amazing swiming pool with free costumes they provide . Loved the overall behaviour of staff and the build quality and architecture of hotel . Food is fantastic. Cons : A bit far from main raniketh market around 10kms . Suggestion for management : plz put a bigger sign board at the last right , from where off roading starts . As we missed the hotel cut thrice .
