  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

  • We cannot recommend this travel company enough! My husband and I had been wanting to go to India for quite some time but had not done so due to lack of time to plan a worthwhile trip. Booking with this company was exactly what we needed--we told them the types of places and sites we wanted to see and they took care of the rest.

  • I got exactly the vacation I wanted for almost no work and probably cheaper than I could have done it myself. I told this travel company what I wanted and they just did the rest. The hotels and tours/activities were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Great service too they were very responsive and helpful!

Baijnath Shiva temple

Baijnath Temple, located at a distance of 16 km from Palampur is one of the chief attractions of the region. This temple was established in 1204 A.D by regional merchants, named Ahuka and Manyuka. Since establishment, the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is continuously in construction.Highlights of the shrine are the inscriptions on the porch of the temple that indicates a shrine of Lord Shiva's existence before the construction of the temple. The current structure of the temple is a fine illustration of medieval north Indian temple architecture, known as Nagara style of temples. In the sanctum of the temple, Svayambhu form of Shivalinga is enshrined. Besides, a tall curvilinear Shikhara is mounted on the sanctum. A vestibule entrance of the shrine leads to a large square Mandapa, which features two massive balconies. Images of several Gods and Goddesses are carved on the outer walls of the shrine. Moreover, outer doorway is beautifully decorated with images of deities and religious inscriptions.
Along with that, there is a small porch resting on four pillars in front of the Mandapa and an idol of Nandi preceding the pillars is established in a small pillared shrine.
