Khatling glacier is located in the district of Tehri in the hill state of Uttarakhand. Khatling is an important glacier of Garhwal Himalayas which is the source of river Bhilangna. The icy glacier of Khatling is surrounded by magnificent snow capped Himalayan peaks such as Jogin group (6466m), Sphetic Pristwar (6905m), Barte Kauter (6579m) Kirti Stambh (6902m) and Meru.
This lateral glacier situated in Tehri district is the source of river Bhilangna. The glacier is surrounded by snow peaks of the Join group (6466 m), Sphetic Pristwar (6905 m), Barte Kauter (6579 m), Kirti Stambh (6902 m) and Meru. The moraines on the side of the glaciers look like standing walls of gravel mud.
The trek which starts from Ghuttu is easily approachable by motor from Dehradun, Tehri, Mussoorie and the Rishikesh railhead. One has to trek about 45 km and pass through remote villages with thick kharsao forest and wide open beautiful lush
Trek to Khatling Glacier (45 Km)
The trek to Khatling glacier starts from a place called Ghuttu. Ghuttu is easily approachable by road from places like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie and Tehri. The trek, which is about 45 km long, passes through small villages and hamlets of Garhwal, and thick Kharsao forests. Occasional encounters with wide grassy meadows are sure to leave anyone spellbound.
Upon entering the picturesque Bhilangna valley, one can easily find a number of spots suited for camping. It should be kept in mind that tents and other camping essentials are required to be arranged well in advance from Rishikesh, Tehri or Dehradun.
How To Reach
By road, the base camp of Ghuttu is well connected by motor able road with important destinations of the region like Tehri (64 Km) and Rishikesh (147 Km). From Ghuttu one has to first trek to Khatling which is about 45 Km away via Reeh, Gangi, Kalyani and Bhelbagi. Nearest railhead is Rishikesh and nearest airport is Jolly Grant of Dehradun.
Sir Hotel at Chopta is very difficult for senior citizens to climb.One more suggestion if possible provide accommodation to drivers.Otherwise the tour was ok. Driver was polite and expirenced.Arihant Hotel at Haridwar was very good.I wish to continue travelling with your company.

Sir I have an honest feedback that the Nainital hotel was not at all good we had multiple issues .
Our trip was wonderful beyond our expectations. The driver was great and timely placed on our schedule, with exceptional vibes in Babaji Caves. The hotels B&Bs were all excellent locations with the top city attractions nearby in each case. From Arriving to departing everything was great.

Arranged a honeymoon tour for my brother and his wife thru all seasons tour. I must say Mr Rahule the travel expert was very cooperative and patient in discussing the intricate travel arrangements with me. The hotels and rooms provided were quite good and clean. The driver was very cooperative and the vehicle was in excellent condition. Overall a very good experience and strongly recommend them.

Me and my friend has completed 5 days/ 4 nights trip to Jageshwar. It was a very nice trip properly organised. Hotels and taxi service was excellent. Though I booked a budget tour but services were of standard class.😊
Had a good trip with family. The cab driver was polite throughout. But we faced a few issues: the hotel was under construction, breakfast and dinner options were limited compared to a buffet, and room cleanliness was a problem.All Seasons staff Shivam was courteous and arranged alternate hotel nearby which was good
