  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

  • We cannot recommend this travel company enough! My husband and I had been wanting to go to India for quite some time but had not done so due to lack of time to plan a worthwhile trip. Booking with this company was exactly what we needed--we told them the types of places and sites we wanted to see and they took care of the rest.

  • I got exactly the vacation I wanted for almost no work and probably cheaper than I could have done it myself. I told this travel company what I wanted and they just did the rest. The hotels and tours/activities were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Great service too they were very responsive and helpful!

Kanvashram

Kanvashram is one of the real vacation spots of Lansdowne arranged in the midst of lavish green forests and hillocks. The River Malini streams near this ashram, further upgrading the excellence of the spot. The ashram is a perfect spot for contemplation with appropriate convenience facilities. The Sahastradhara Falls is found near Kanvashram.
As indicated by a legend, the acclaimed sage, Rishi Vishwamitra once contemplated at this spot. The story expresses that the exceptional contemplation of the sage unnerved Indra, the Lord of Heaven. In this way, he sent a divine lady called Menka to bother the sage. Menka succeeded in diverting Vishwamitra, a young lady kid was conceived of their union and she was named Shakuntala. Later, Menka left the tyke under the watchful eye of Sage Kanva in this ashram.
At the point when Shakuntala grew up, she got hitched to King Dushyant, who was the leader of Hastinapur around then. Following couple of years, she brought forth an infant kid and named him Bharat. It is trusted that India, regularly viewed as Bharat or Bharatvarsha, was named after him as it were.
