The experts have envisaged the plan of building a ropeway from Ranibagh in Haldwani to Jeolikot to Nainital covering an aerial distance of around 14 kilometers. Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj had reported of connecting Nainital with a ropeway system during a programme some months ago.
The ropeway would save time and cash of the vacationers who have to confront traffic jams en route to the to the really popular lake city.
