Valley of Flower Opened for Tourists

The world famous Valley of Flowers has been opened for tourists from Friday. On the very first day, 43 tourists visited the Valley of Flowers. The weather is favorable in the Valley at this time. The tourists will be able to enjoy the tour of the valley of flowers by next October.

Bansalal Bharti, forest officer of Nanda Devi National Park said that registration for traveling to the Valley of flowers are being done in Ghangaria. No tourist will be allowed to enter the valley after two o'clock in the afternoon. For reaching valley of flowers tourist have to reach Ghangaria by Hemkund Sahib trek. Then after about a distance of four kilometers, they reach Valley of flower.



For this, online booking of tourists from all over the country has also been started. So far 80 native and 22 foreign tourists have booked online for the Valley of Flowers. The valley of flowers is the only such valley in the world, where more than 300 species of flowers bloom. This valley is world famous for its biodiversity. Here, along with flowers, the rare species of wild animals, trees and herbs are also visited by tourists.
