  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

  • We cannot recommend this travel company enough! My husband and I had been wanting to go to India for quite some time but had not done so due to lack of time to plan a worthwhile trip. Booking with this company was exactly what we needed--we told them the types of places and sites we wanted to see and they took care of the rest.

  • I got exactly the vacation I wanted for almost no work and probably cheaper than I could have done it myself. I told this travel company what I wanted and they just did the rest. The hotels and tours/activities were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Great service too they were very responsive and helpful!

Para-Gliding in Bilaspur: Before the year 1994, there was hardly any para-gliding or hang gliding pilot in Himachal Pradesh, excepting one, Roshan Lal Thakur from Manali, who had acquired some skill in flying from foreign pilots, often visiting Manali as tourist. Mean while R.P. Gautam who had come on retirement from Central Reserve Police Force as Commandant, visualised the vast potential in paragliding from Bandla mountain.

Under the guidance of Mr. Bruce Mills from New Zealand and Alexi Garisimov from Russia, Himachal Aero Adventure Institute Bilaspurcame into existence. It all started in 1944 and since then it has attracted tourists from all across the world. The best thing about flying at the Bandla Dhar is its flying time, which can be as much as 8 hours in the air, which is not a possibility in Manali or Bir Billing. The landing ground at the Luhnu Ground at the banks of the great Gobind.Today, it has become the number one destination for paragliding in India. World class aero sport sites like Bandla Dhar in Bilaspurand Bir-Billing in Kangra valley attract a large number of tourists and even professional hand/para gliders every year. The best time to visit Bundla Dhar in bilaspur, Bir-Billing in the Kangra Valley or Intkali in the Pabbar Valley is May-June and September-October. In just about 20 minutes of the flight, you can rise to the height of 20000 feet. Paragliding Adventure at Bilaspurin Bir Billing Rs 4,150.

  • What is Paragliding?
  • Paragliders are aircraft which fly by the same aerodynamic principles that keep Boeings in the sky.
  • Is it for me?
  • General athletic ability seems to help as it requires a little hiking but once airborne the physical effort is minimal.

  • How safe it is?
  • Paragliding is an outdoor sport in which you are trying to harmonize with the forces of nature. Like any other adventure sport it is exciting because of that little element of risk but no more than climbing or swimming.

  • How scary Is It?
  • Paragliding is the simplest and most serene way to fulfill humankind's oldest dream -- free flight! The pilot jogs down a gentle slope and glides away from the mountain. There is no free-falling or jumping off of cliffs.
