  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

  • We cannot recommend this travel company enough! My husband and I had been wanting to go to India for quite some time but had not done so due to lack of time to plan a worthwhile trip. Booking with this company was exactly what we needed--we told them the types of places and sites we wanted to see and they took care of the rest.

  • I got exactly the vacation I wanted for almost no work and probably cheaper than I could have done it myself. I told this travel company what I wanted and they just did the rest. The hotels and tours/activities were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Great service too they were very responsive and helpful!

Kinnaur Kailash Parikrama

Performed by both Buddhists and Hindus, a parikrama second just to that of Mt. Kailash. August and September are the best times. Trek begins at Thangi on the right bank of the Tedong, around four hours by road from Reckong Peo. It is 10 kms. to Lambar (2950 m.), here and there the elevated Charang khad. Day 2 takes one 20 kms. to the greater town of Charang (3400 m.), organized essentially over the conjunction of the Charang and Shurtingting streams. There is a rest house here and a gompa where pioneers get blessings before continuing forward. Day 3( 13kms.) incorporates crossing the high fields of Charang and ascending a stream to Lalanti (4300 m.), outside to one side bank. Day 4 (27 kms.) is the most troublesome, rising more than a thousand meters, over enormous rockfalls, past the nose of an ice sheet on the benefit, and after that battering one's way up an unstable, scree slope to the Charang Pass (5240 m). The viewpoint from the top is eminent. From the seat it is a tricky fall of pretty much 2000 meters to Chitkul (3400 m.), the last town in the Sangla valley and the road head.
