Start your day right on time with a trek to Tungnath Temple & Chandrashilla. The Chandrashila is highest point of the peak where Tungnath is located, and offers a 270 degree view of the Great Himalayan range, distinctly visible from here. At a height of about 4000 meters, and 1.5 kms further from Tungnath, Chandrashila is worth your time, if you're excited about photographing the Himalayan peaks, or just like the rush of the hilly wind in your hair. On your way back you should visit Kanchula Kharak Musk Deer Sanctuary and Deoria Tal.

Anasakti Ashram was built to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi who visited this place in 1929 and described it as the 'Switzerland of India' after falling in love with its pristine beauty.
