  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

Govind Ghat

Govindghat, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is beautifully situated at the convergence of the Rivers Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga. It is located at a distance of just 22 Kms from Joshimath on National Highway 58. Govindghat travel guide is full of references to the exciting sceneries and serene spots in and around the area. It is widely famous for the Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. Thousands of Sikh pilgrims visit the pious Hemkund Sahib round the year. The Gurudwara is situated on the right side of the majestic River Alaknanda.

Nanda Devi National Park

One of the most serene and tranquil of national parks in the country, the Nanda Devi National Park in Uttarakhand is a paradise for nature lovers and those who seek to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. Covering an area of more than 630 square kilometers, the Nanda Devi park, when combined with the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, is 2,236 square kilometers. Notified as a national park in 1982, Nanda Devi National Park covers the area around the Nanda Devi Peak which is 7,817 meters high.The adjoining Valley of Flowers National Park and this park were recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.

Narsingh Temple

There are also numerous temples in Joshimath. The most famous are Narsingh temple. It is written in Rajatarangani that the temple of Narsingh was established in eighth century AD by King Lalitaditya Yukta Pida during his digvijayayatra. The statue of Lord Narsinghis finely carved of Shaligram and interestingly, one of the arms is thin as a needle. It is believed that the day this fine arm of the statue breaks in kalyug, the mountains of Jaya and Vijaya at Vishnuprayag will collapse and close the way to Sri Badrinath.

Trishul Peak

Located at an elevation of around 23,490 feet above sea level, Trishul Peak is the kind of natural marvel that leaves you enamoured and fumbling for your camera. It is one of the most famous spots to enjoy skiing in Auli. There is also a lake named, Roopkund, situated at the base of Trishul Peak. Roopkund Lake is known for its mysterious background as around 600 skeletal remains of humans and horses were discovered here.

Valley of Flowers

Stretching over an expanse of 87.50 sq. kms. the valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and carpeted with some 500 rare species of flowers. Frank S. Smythe – mountaineer, explorer, botanist who camped here for several weeks in the monsoon of 1937 and did valuable exploratory work, introduced the valley to the world as the valley of Flowers.

View Points

The panoramic view in Auli can be astonishing as it is surrounded by very high peaks including Nanda Devi (7817 m). There is also a Hanuman Temple which is supposed to be the place where Hanuman took some rest when he had come to the Himalayas to procure Sanjivani to rescue Laxman, the younger brother of Rama. Visitors can also enjoy a cable car here which can give them a beautiful view of the surroundings. There is an artificial lake as well in Auli which is the world's highest man-made lake.

Auli is an ideal winter resort run by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN). Auli is in the Chamoli district of Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh.Auli, 16 km from Joshimath is an ideal winter resort run by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN). A 3 km long slope ranging from a height of 2519 to 3049 m is a major attraction. The Auli resort run by GMVN has snow beaters which beat the snow to keep the slopes fit for skiing at all times. A 500 m long ski-lift carries skiiers back to the slope top, thus saving them the trouble and time to bridge up wearing long skis.

Everything was Excellent

Just returned from a small trip to Auli. We spent 5 days in Auli & Rishikesh. All arrangements done for our tour were amazing. Hotels, guides, driver etc. everything was excellent. Karni was always there to help us whenever we had doubt regarding the itinerary. He was super quick in responding to our queries. We highly recommend this tour!!

Exceeded all my Expectations

I completed a 6 -day Uttarakhand trip with this tour company. It was an incredible experience! I am a woman, and I was traveling in India alone. Even though it was the off-season, I was so pleased that the company arranged for me to do this trek with four other women. It was winter (and very cold), but the company arranged for some lovely accommodations along the three nights of our trek. The food was amazing, the trekking was an enjoyable challenge, and the views along the entire trek were absolutely breathtaking. Binod, our kind and competent guide, was absolutely wonderful, and I'm grateful for him leading us through the wilderness in this magical place! I absolutely recommend this company to everyone! Their service exceeded all of my expectations, and I'm so grateful for this experience. I can't wait to travel back to the Himalayas for more trekking.

Highly recommended

We just finished the Kedarkantha trek. We had an excellent guide, Naveen. He has the widest knowledge about the geography, the plants, everything. He took care of all our needs during the trek. We highly recommend this company and especially the guide Pemba for anyone considering taking a Trek in the Uttarakhand region. The trek was amazing, and we had very good views in the morning of the whole Himalaya range including Himalayas in the distance. On our way we had a chance to meet the local population, see how they live, and learn to make Bhang ki Chutney...

Fantastic Experience

We have just just returned home after doing the amazing 6 day Uttarakhand tour! Wow, what a fantastic experience, we were so lucky with the weather and got to enjoy incredible views of Himalayan Peaks. The trek was a lot tougher than I expected but we all survived ok. I have to say the entire All Seasons team were superb, Mr Binod ( our guide) was a true gentleman and very patient with us, his knowledge of the flora and fauna made the trek more interesting especially for m6 son who has a keen interest in nature. Just want to say thanks to Subash for his attention and responsiveness to all my queries in planning this trip, he was fantastic and I wish him well in the future, his ethos of supporting the families high up in the mountains is commendable.
