The temple is dedicated to Mata Murti and is just 3 Kms from Badrinath. Mata Murti Temple is situated on the bank of the River Alaknanda. It is visited frequently by visitors for worshipping Mata Murti on Shukla Tritiya, Ashtami and Chaturdashi. The temple holds strong conviction among local people that the Goddess has power of giving Vairagya to those who keenly offer prayers in her temple.

Vyas Caves is located in village Mana on the banks of River Saraswati. Village Mana is the last Indian Village situated at Indo-China Border in Badrinath dham. This beautiful village is famous for historical Vyas Caves where Vyas Maharishi, author of Mahabharat, is believed to compose the Mahabharata (the great Indian Epic), 18 Puranas, and Brahma Sutras and classified the Hindu Vedas into 4 parts - Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva. Most of the tourists who visit Badrinath also come to see the end of the road at Mana.Vyas Gufa is believed to be the place where sage Vyas composed the Mahabharata epic with the help of Lord Ganesha.

Yogadhyan Badri, also called Yoga Badri, is located at Pandukeshwar (30�38'2?N 79�32'51?E) at the elevation of 1,829 metres (6,001 ft), close to Govind Ghat and is as ancient as the main Badrinath temple.[9] Pandukeshwar is located en route from Govind Ghat to Hanuman Chatti, 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) away from Hanuman Chatti.Legend has it that King Pandu, father of the five Pandavas - heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata, meditated here to god Vishnu to cleanse him of the sin of killing of two mating deer, who were ascetics in their previous lives.

Satopanth is the place that leads the way to the Swargarohini peak from where according to the Mahabharata, Yudhishthir and the dog were sent to the heaven. Also, the lake is believed to be the point where Bheema was denied to enter the heaven. With clean and pure water, Satopanth Lake offers breathtaking views to the travelers. There are no rest houses and villages on the way to Satopanth, therefore, travelers can rest in temporary tents and caves .

Brahma kapal is a place in Badrinath which is of great importance for Hindus as here they pay homage to the dead souls of their ancestors. It is a flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda which is around two kilometers far from the hills of Badrinath. It is said that Lord Brahma himself exists at this place and thus if someone does Rituals and Shraddha Karm for the departed souls of his family they get salvation from the cycle of birth and death one after another.

Tapt Kund is the abode of Lord Agni and is famous for its medicinal properties. Before entering the Badrinath Temple, one has to take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund. The dip into the hot water of this kund is believed to be spiritually rejuvenating and relieves the sins.

Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. The temple and town form one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The temple is also one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath�holy shrines for Vaishnavites. It is open for six months every year (between the end of April and the beginning of November), because of extreme weather conditions in the Himalayan region. The temple is located in Garhwal hill tracks in Chamoli district along the banks of Alaknanda River at an elevation of 3,133 m (10,279 ft) above the mean sea level. It is one of the most visited pilgrimage centres of India, having recorded 1,060,000 visits.

Bheem Pul is situated opposite to the Vyas Gufa in Mana Village. It is a huge rock which acts as a natural bridge across the Saraswati River. The Saraswati River flows with force in between the two mountains and joins the Alaknanda River. It is believed that Bheem, one of the five Pandavas, threw a huge rock in order to make a path to join the two mountains so that Draupadi could easily walk over it.

The Panchshilas or five stones around the Tapt Kund are Narad, Narsimh, Barah, Garur & Markandeya Shilas (stone). These five stones are of great mythological importance.The Panch Dharas are the famous five streams in Badaripuri named, Prahlad, Kurma, Bhrigu, Urvashi and Indira dhara. Of all the most striking dhara is the Indira dhara which is situated around 1.5 km north of the Badaripuri town.
