At an elevation of 23,490 ft, Trishul peak is famous for its skiing slopes and the Nanda Devi National Park. Roopkund lake, popularly known as the 'Mystery lake', situated on the foot of the peak is famous for the 600 skeletal remains of humans and horses found in the lake.There are a few peaks in the Garhwal and Kumaoni Himalayas that are as pretty and majestic as the Trishul Peak.
