Banasur Ka kila

Banasur Ka kila (Fort of Banasur) is 15 km far from Champawat District, and 4 km from lohaghat above karnkarayat.on a ridge at the entrance of the valley at an altitude of 1920 meters.It occupies a steep knoll 50 to 70 meter above the general level of the mountain, separeted by a deep neck from a plateau east north east, on which stood an outpost called Raunj,from which Kotalgarh could be easily battered.

Nagnath Temple

Nagnath Temple is one of the oldest shrines in the Champawat District, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is a double storey wooden structure along with a carved doorway at this temple, which represents the traditional Kumaoni architectural style. In 18th century, the temple was partially destroyed by the Gorkha and Rohilla invaders, but now the temple is in a better condition than earlier.
