Arjuneswar Temple is a popular site of pilgrimage in this region. Perched at an altitude of 6000 ft above sea level, the Arjuneswar Temple can only be reached by trekking. The temple gets its name from Arjuna, as it is believed that Arjuna had built this temple. Arjuna was one of the Pandava brothers, according to the epic Mahabharata and was considered as one of the best warriors and archers.
