Gangotri is one of the major religious places for Hindus amongst the (four) Char Dham pilgrimage areas. Gangotri is located in Uttarkashi district and is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga. The river is also famous as Ganges. According to the myths, there is a long history of Gangotri which dates back to centuries when Goddess Ganga transformed herself in the form of river. The major reason behind the transformation into river is to dissolve the sins of King Bhagirath’s forefathers, following his sacrament. In the 18th century, Gangotri Temple was built by a Gorkha Commander that stands at an altitude of almost 3042 meters. Here in the temple, several religious rituals are performed by the pujaris which include the Arti ceremony. The holy river Ganges originated from the Gangotri glacier. Here it is known as Bhagirathi, when the river passes Devaprayag and is merged into the river Alaknanda, only then is it called the Ganga.
Few important tourist�places around Gangotri�are:
Gaumukh glacier is the source of Bhagirathi River which is also known as Ganga River before the confluence with Alaknanda River at Devprayag. Gaumukh Glacier is situated 18kms from Gangotri which should be covered on foot. If you carefully observe it, the glacier resembles a cow’s mouth..
Hemkund Sahib�is situated at an altitude of 4,329 mts above sea level in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state. Hemkund literally suggests lake of snow and the pristine water of this lake is as cold as snow. Numerous waterfalls, dense forest, enchanting view of the Himalayas, crystal clear lake and the holy Hemkund Sahib are the key highlights of this trekking trip. The weather changes very rapidly at Hemkund Sahib.
Yamunotri is a very important pilgrimage and one of the sites of the Char Dham yatra. This town is situated about 3293m above the sea in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Surrounded by mountains from all sides, it offers scenic view to the pilgrims here. You can also view Indo-China border as it is located at close proximity to it
Auli Tourism is the most popular skiing destination of Uttaranchal state. Auli is situated in Chamoli district of Garhwal region covering elevation from 2,519mts to 3,050mts above sea level. Joshimath is a popular hill station and a famous centre for pilgrimage at a height of 1,890mts above sea level in Chamoli district of Garhwal division in Uttaranchal. In ancient scriptures Joshimath is described as Kartikeyapura as it has been named after Kartikeya, the God of Katyuri kings. Joshimath is one of the four maths or monasteries established in the 8th century by Adi Guru Sri Shankaracharya.

Sir Hotel at Chopta is very difficult for senior citizens to climb.One more suggestion if possible provide accommodation to drivers.Otherwise the tour was ok. Driver was polite and expirenced.Arihant Hotel at Haridwar was very good.I wish to continue travelling with your company.

Sir I have an honest feedback that the Nainital hotel was not at all good we had multiple issues .
Our trip was wonderful beyond our expectations. The driver was great and timely placed on our schedule, with exceptional vibes in Babaji Caves. The hotels B&Bs were all excellent locations with the top city attractions nearby in each case. From Arriving to departing everything was great.

Arranged a honeymoon tour for my brother and his wife thru all seasons tour. I must say Mr Rahule the travel expert was very cooperative and patient in discussing the intricate travel arrangements with me. The hotels and rooms provided were quite good and clean. The driver was very cooperative and the vehicle was in excellent condition. Overall a very good experience and strongly recommend them.

Me and my friend has completed 5 days/ 4 nights trip to Jageshwar. It was a very nice trip properly organised. Hotels and taxi service was excellent. Though I booked a budget tour but services were of standard class.😊
Had a good trip with family. The cab driver was polite throughout. But we faced a few issues: the hotel was under construction, breakfast and dinner options were limited compared to a buffet, and room cleanliness was a problem.All Seasons staff Shivam was courteous and arranged alternate hotel nearby which was good
