Ghangaria is a little town while in transit to Hemkund Sahib, a mainstream journey site for Sikhs which is around 6 km from here and the Valley of Flowers, a national park known for its assortment of blooms around 3 km from here. Ghangaria is arranged at the intersection of the waterways Bhyundar Ganga and Pushpawati, which frames Lakshman Ganga, that later meets the stream Alaknanda at Govindghat. It is the last human residence in the Bhyundar valley. The tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Govind Singhji mediated at Hemkund Sahib for years. The word Hemkund literally suggests 'Lake of snow' and the immaculate water of this lake is as cold as snow. Hemkund Saheb is located at an elevation of 4,329mts above sea level amidst several snow capped peaks, which are collectively called Hemkund Parvat.
Govindghat, a town in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India, is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. It lies around roughly 22 km from Joshimath on NH58 at an altitude of 6000 feet.It is the roadhead and the starting point for trekking to Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers.
Gaurikund is the commencement point of the trek of 14kms to the sacred shrine of Kedarnath. It is situated at an elevation of 1,982mts above sea level. The temple and town are one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. It is also one of the 108 Divya Desams, holy shrines for Vaishnavites.
Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian national park, located in West Himalaya, in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear.
Vasudhara Falls is a waterfall situated near Badrinath, in Uttarakhand, India. Total distance from Badrinath to Vasudhara is 9 KM. It is a 6 km walkable trek from Mana village. Mana village is 3 km road route from Badrinath.
Legend says: While going to Swargarohini, pathway to heaven, Pandavas crossed this river whereas Draupadi refused to jump between the banks. Hence Bhim picked a large long stone and put across the river to enable Draupadi cross the river.
Bedini Bugyal is a Himalayan Alpine meadow, situated at an altitude of 3,354 metres (11,004 ft) in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state of India. Bedini Bugyal falls on the way to Roopkund near Wan village. Trisul and Nanda Ghunti are clearly visible from here.
Hemkund Lake is situated near the Hemkund Gurudwara. It remains frozen during most of the year, approximately eight months. Surrounded by snow laden mountains on all the sides, this lake is considered to be a place of religious importance for Sikhs as well as Hindus.
The Lakshman Temple is located on the bank of the Hemkund Lake and the temple is also known by the name of Lokpal Temple among Hindus. It is believed that Lakshman, the brother of Lord Ram meditated in this region after the battle with Ravan's son Meghnad to regain his power.
The temple is about 1200 years old. Dedicated to Vishnu, the presiding deity of the temple is Narsimha, the half-man, half-lion and fourth incarnation of Vishnu. Like Govindghat, he is also sitting in the sukhasana.
A wide trace follows the Pushpawati River, first on the left and then on the right bank. At Ghangaria village the river converges with the Hemkund Ganga. Kundalinisen Plateau is located on the banks of this river.

Fantastic trip and we enjoyed every moment of it. Tanuja did a great job working with us to understand our needs and create the perfect itinerary for us. We had very specific requests and Tanuja was incredibly patient with us, making multiple changes to the itinerary. She was also very responsive to email, oftentimes responding in less than 12 hrs. When we had 1 small glitch with scheduling during our travel, she fixed the problem right away. Overall, a well planned schedule with a good balance of tours and free time with excellent choice of hotel locations. Our trip went smooth. We had a great time. Our agent Mr. Arun and his team were very responsive and flexible. They were able to arrange everything for our 2 week trip in less than a month and within the budget we gave them. We don't have any complaints.....Thanks Allseasonsz!!!
The staff with the company were very friendly and honest with their recommendations. The itinerary was well planned, with good mix of free time and touring. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly without having to worry at all with the planning. .
We recently completed a 12 Days trip to Uttarakhand. The exeperience was mixed, had to change the room in Mussoorie hotel Green N Breeze as the size was vey small and our family could hardly fit in and faced issues regarding going to Lal Tibba and Landour as the taxi we hired from the company refused to go there citing the local txi union issues and we have to pay INR 2000 from our pocket.The Jim Corbett safari was average as there was no tiger spooting though our driver Nandan tried his best to take us around the different spots where we could spot one.We again faced the challenge during the room changing in Hotel Ashdale Nainital as the room allocated was facing the back wall of the garden and in the process wasted our precious 4-5 hrs.
All Seasons helpdesk persons Ravi & Saurabh and tried their best to resolve all the issues we faced but in the whole process we wasted the significant amount of time during our trip.
