We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Travel Tips & Things to Carry for Dodham
If inquire for direction ask only shopkeepers make sure at least two, or use services of Govt. tourist Information Center.
Due to climate changes may suffer with throat sore so carry some throat relieving tablets. or gargles with salt warm water.
Boiled and fried food is better & safer avoid cold or raw vegetable, bitter salad or ice. Always carry a hand sanitizer.
Keep a small first box with having some pain killer, anti fever, cough-cold tablets, antibiotic, antiseptic cream, bandages etc.
Keep always with yourself a Touch and lighter as electric city light may go off at any time.
If you are carry Handy cam, Digital Camera, mobile phone so carry additional battery because availability of electricity at every place is fluctuate.
Do not take photo at prohibited places and temples. Also respect the sentiments local peoples.
Carry some woolen clothes with yourself as you travel at high altitude region.
Your physical and mental health should be good as you will trek at high altitude about 14000ft. if necessary carry a small oxygen cylinder.
Before yatra do some practice of walking approx 4 to 5 km daily.
Always hired a registered Porters, Pony or doly. Walk with dolies or pony as they carry your luggage.
Keep some dry food, biscuits, Sugar, Candies, Glucose powder, milk powder, assorted dry fruits, honey or lemons, Water bottle, spoons, tumblers, saucers and plates.
Please consider environments, don�t throw wrappers of chips, chocolates, polythene, cold drink bottle, water bottle etc. on road or in the forest. Use dustbin.
Carry enough money with yourself for personal expenses as ATM is very rare.
Non veg meal, alcohol is completely prohibited in yatra route.
Avoid a rest where board of caution indicated.
Avoid carry jewellery.
Don�t endeavor to clean hands, feet, clothes or bath in the rivers while there is no special ghat or place.
Make sure your vehicle has fitness and necessary permits to route of yatra. AC is not working on hill drive.

Never overtake the overtaking vehicle.

While on trekking, trek in one motion (Slow step), avoid any competition.
Maintain discipline. Move slowly and steadily, as this is a laborious pilgrimage.

Don't compete with local vehicles / drivers while driving. They know the terrain very well.
