  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Baijnath Temples

An ancient town of Baijnath, located around 20 kms from Kausani is a place adorned with several small and big temples each holding a historic and religious importance. Once served as the capital of Katyuri Dynasty, the Baijnath Temple was constructed during the 12th century and as per the legend Lord Shiva and Parvati were married here at the confluence of River Garur Ganga and River Gomti. Other temples present here are Brahma, Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh, Kuber and Surya Temple etc. Another temple located 3 kms from town namely Kote-ke-mai Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu has a large statue of him.

Someshwar

Someshwar is nothing like a normal temple on the top of the hill. In fact this place apart from captivating surroundings has a fascinating history attached to it. Established by Raja Som Chand, the founder of Chand Dynasty, today this place holds very great religious significance and dedicated to Lord Shiva, the chief deity of the area.

Kausani Tea Estate

This is a place where one will feel very close to nature and a paradise for tea lovers. Kausani Tea Estate, situated 5 kms away from the main town is spread across the area of 208 hectares. The place also arranges for a short tour to show their manufacturing process guided by their own staff. One can taste and buy different flavored tea from there. Apart from it is an amazing location where you can stroll but take care not to visit here from November to March, when it remains closed.

Sumitranandan Pant Museum

Sumitranandan Pant Museum is a place with an artistic taste and is a whole new world in itself. Dedicated to famous Hindi poet who was born in Kausani, it offers a wide range of his creative work on display from manuscripts of poems and draft work of her literary work to his awards and letters written by and to him. A large collection of his books in English and Hindi are showcased in a glass shelves. To celebrate his birth anniversary, every year a poetry discussion is organized in the museum.

Planet Show

Planets Show provides tourists with a view of the stars apart from the clouds and mist. A planetarium-cum-internet cafe, it is run by an astronomy enthusiast in Kausani. When clear night sky is available, stargazing is an option for the tourists. For stargazing, the planetarium is outfitted with varieties of telescope. Every evening, the enthusiast enlightens the tourists about the planets. In this show, the astronomers explain the theoretical developments and the fundamentals of astronomy to the visitors. Tourists can visit the planetarium any time from the morning till 11 pm daily.

Trek to Pinnath

A perfect way to rekindle your spirits, Pinnath is approachable from Kausani only via a trek of 5 kms. Known for its temple, this place offers a sense of pleasure when surrounded by the wilderness of nature.
Overlooking the Kosi River, the temple by the same name is devoted to Bhairon and has a very intriguing structure. The temple walls and doors are adorned with images of kings and Pandavas, October is the best time to visit the temple when a fair is held every year.

Rudradhari Falls and Caves

At a distance of 12 kms from Kausani, bounded by the paddy fields and green pine forests is the spellbinding Rudradhari Falls. According to the legend, this place holds connection with Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. The Shiva Temple of Someshwar lies in the proximity to the waterfalls.

Everything was Excellent

Just returned from a small trip to Auli. We spent 5 days in Auli & Rishikesh. All arrangements done for our tour were amazing. Hotels, guides, driver etc. everything was excellent. Karni was always there to help us whenever we had doubt regarding the itinerary. He was super quick in responding to our queries. We highly recommend this tour!!

Exceeded all my Expectations

I completed a 6 -day Uttarakhand trip with this tour company. It was an incredible experience! I am a woman, and I was traveling in India alone. Even though it was the off-season, I was so pleased that the company arranged for me to do this trek with four other women. It was winter (and very cold), but the company arranged for some lovely accommodations along the three nights of our trek. The food was amazing, the trekking was an enjoyable challenge, and the views along the entire trek were absolutely breathtaking. Binod, our kind and competent guide, was absolutely wonderful, and I'm grateful for him leading us through the wilderness in this magical place! I absolutely recommend this company to everyone! Their service exceeded all of my expectations, and I'm so grateful for this experience. I can't wait to travel back to the Himalayas for more trekking.

Highly recommended

We just finished the Kedarkantha trek. We had an excellent guide, Naveen. He has the widest knowledge about the geography, the plants, everything. He took care of all our needs during the trek. We highly recommend this company and especially the guide Pemba for anyone considering taking a Trek in the Uttarakhand region. The trek was amazing, and we had very good views in the morning of the whole Himalaya range including Himalayas in the distance. On our way we had a chance to meet the local population, see how they live, and learn to make Bhang ki Chutney...

Fantastic Experience

We have just just returned home after doing the amazing 6 day Uttarakhand tour! Wow, what a fantastic experience, we were so lucky with the weather and got to enjoy incredible views of Himalayan Peaks. The trek was a lot tougher than I expected but we all survived ok. I have to say the entire All Seasons team were superb, Mr Binod ( our guide) was a true gentleman and very patient with us, his knowledge of the flora and fauna made the trek more interesting especially for m6 son who has a keen interest in nature. Just want to say thanks to Subash for his attention and responsiveness to all my queries in planning this trip, he was fantastic and I wish him well in the future, his ethos of supporting the families high up in the mountains is commendable.
