  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

  • We cannot recommend this travel company enough! My husband and I had been wanting to go to India for quite some time but had not done so due to lack of time to plan a worthwhile trip. Booking with this company was exactly what we needed--we told them the types of places and sites we wanted to see and they took care of the rest.

  • I got exactly the vacation I wanted for almost no work and probably cheaper than I could have done it myself. I told this travel company what I wanted and they just did the rest. The hotels and tours/activities were great! Couldn't have asked for more. Great service too they were very responsive and helpful!

The Mussoorie Dehradun Development (MDDA) is set to construct a ‘signature building’ which will house commercial shops, parking facilities and a waiting lounge, officials associated with the development said on Tuesday, 26 February 2019. The building will be built under the Doon railway station redevelopment scheme, and is being touted as the 'most prominent landmark of the city.'

Officials in the MDDA said the entire project is estimated to cost over Rs 200 crore. "Though a detailed project report (DPR) is yet to be prepared, but our estimated suggest that the project will cost over Rs 200 crore," MDDA vice-chairman Ashish Kumar Srivastava said.

The announcement was made by the MDDA after its officials were given a presentation by a private firm, hired for the redevelopment of station.

"Dehradun is a very old city with lots of colonial era building, with Doon station being one of them. That is why we have decided to keep the original structure of the station since it represents the city's colonial heritage. However, the new building will represent the city and become one of the landmarks of Doon," Srivastava said. The MDDA officials said the design and structure of the building as well as budgetary allocations is yet to be finalized.

"It was the first presentation. Presently we are preparing a DPR and only after that we will widened to ease traffic in the area. A new entry gate, walkways and information centres is also being planned near the station, officials said.
