  • The trip was fabulous. Shimla is an amazing place with lots to see and do. Our tour operator was excellent. All of their suggestions and recommendations were solid. We loved our hotel and the location. All the tours were high-quality and we experienced no difficulties with pickups. Mr. Nitin was extremely pleasant to work with and truly wanted us to have a fabulous time.

Badrinath Temple

Badrinath temple is one of the important pilgrim centers, the opening date of the temple this year is 29 th April 2012 and is flanked by Nar-Narayan Mountain ranges. The beautiful and colorful temple of Badrinathji is on the banks of river Alkananda, established by Adi Shankaracharya and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Neelkanth peak forms a splendid backdrop and opposite to the temple is holy hot water spring or Tapt kund. The temple opens every year in the month of Apr-May and closes for winters in the third week of November.

Kalpavriksha

This tree is believed to be the oldest tree of India and stood at Joshimath from the time of Adi Shankaracharya. More than 2500 years ago Adi Shankaracharya used to meditate in the shades of this beautiful tree and the cave where he lived is also there. The circumference of this mulberry tree is 21.5mts. The tree is now only able to bear flowers and not fruits, but the leaves are still young and fresh of this historic tree. Kalpeshwar Temple

Kalpeshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at an elevation of 2,200 m (7,217.8 ft) in the picturesque Urgam valley in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state in India. The Kalpeshwar temple is located in the Urgam valley of the Himalayan mountain range near Urgam village (2 km (1.2 mi) short of the temple). On the bridle path from Helang to Kalpeshwar, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Kalpganga rivers is seen. Kalpganga river flows through the Urgam valley.The Urgam valley is a dense forest area. The valley has apple orchards and terraced fields where potato is grown extensively.

Narsingh Temple

After that we visited the Narsingh Temple. When the GovindghatTemple is closed in winter, devotees throng to worship at the Narsimha Temple ,which is the winter adobe of Sri Govindghat. The temple is about 1200 years old. Dedicated to Vishnu, the presiding deity of the temple is Narsimha, the half-man, half-lion and fourth incarnation of Vishnu. The characteristic feature of the deity is that its left wrist is very thin and is shrinking day by day and it is said that the day when it will fall, the route to Govindghatwill get closed permanently by a major land slide.Situated some 30 yards from the Narsimha Temple, the Vasudeva Temple is one of the most famous Vishnu temples in India.

We really appreciated the advice our travel agent provided prior to finalizing our trip itinerary and then the detailed planning on his part to put it all together. Everyone who was to meet with us did. Everyone was very helpful, especially the guides whose knowledge of their area was phenomenal. Tasting local food and refreshments and the accommodations in small interesting hotels is the most enjoyable and memorable part of the trip.

Amazing...

This travel agency put together an amazing itinerary for a week in Uttarakhand for our family. We planned this trip without a lot of lead time and our travel agency was quick to respond and made sure our needs, and the needs of our 2 year-old were taken care of. Perfect Trip

We had an unbelievable time in Uttarakhand this winter. Allseasonsz travel agency provided us with excellent hotels, located in the center of the cities, comfortable, and close to the main sights and trendy restaurants. The guides and drivers for our private tours were phenomenal - very knowledgable and well spoken. We have a family of 6, so they arranged transportation for us in a private van, which was beyond convenient! Lastly, they added stops to our itinerary, that I myself would not have chosen. But those spots ended up being some of our favorite places to see! Our travel agency was also extremely flexible in working with us - they respected our desire to have some downtime with the family, as well as making reservations for us at wonderful restaurants!
