Tundah Wildlife Sanctuary

The Tundah Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at the intersection of Tundah nalla and waterway Ravi, and situated around 45 km from Dalhousie. Associated with Kugti Sanctuary by a woodland passageway toward the east, the elevation of this haven ranges from 2074 to 5532 m.
This beautiful high elevation haven is home to countless Wildlife species, including Himalayan tahr, Ibex, birds, and the sky is the limit from there. It likewise plays host to a little populace of Musk deer. The woods region comprises of sodden deodar timberland, western blended coniferous woodland, wet calm deciduous backwoods, and elevated fields.

Location: Tundah Sanctuary is located in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh
If you are coming from Delhi: board a bus or train to reach Pathankot (485 km); and then from there to Chamba (80 km) and then to Durgathi. It takes around 15 km trek to reach Tundah Wildlife Sanctuary from Durgathi. Alternate route: Simla - Chamba - Durgathi - trek to the sanctuary.
